Hey! I got some new shoes on...

I had to share these little beauties with you...

I got them on Saturday from H&M at the Trafford Centre in Manchester and they were a snip at £29.99
I wore them in the evening and they were really comfy to wear (I'm a flats girl at heart!) my feet only hurt at the end of the night, which at 3.30am was really good going!

What new purchases have you made?

Everyday work essentials!

Hi! Today I was rushing to get ready for work, hair needed washing, uniform needed ironing (due to my weekend of partying!) so much to say I was totally disorganised. To save some time I kept my makeup simple
and just used my favourite essential items.

1. Estee Lauder Day Wear, sheer tint moisturiser
I don't really wear foundation, so this is perfect base that gives moisture with a warm glow. It smells Divine too.. avocado!

2.Chanel Bronze Universal (Soleil tan de Chanel)
love this as its not too dramatic, perfect for a natural golden cheek for work.

3. Bobbi Brown Long-wear gel eyeliner in Black Ink 1
Defines my lash line and lasts all day!

4. Shu Uemura eyelash curlers
No falsies for work for me, these give my lashes a little oomph!

5.Chanel cils a cils mascara volume lash building mascara
This is amazing at building up the lashes to give them a fuller, false lash effect!

6. Balenciaga perfume
I literally feel naked if I don't have any perfume on and this one is one of my faves. It reminds me of Palmoviolet sweets and smells so nice, I'm getting sad as its running out fast.

I love experimenting with colour and changing my makeup style but for my job its not really appropriate to turn up with a full face of cake! These are the items that I am currently loving and sad to say, cannot leave the house without using.

My new makeup station

I have been purchasing way too much makeup recently and felt that it was time to give my cherished items a deserving home, so I went on the prowl for a dressing table. Due to the fact that I had gone a little crazy buying makeup my budget for the dresser as somewhat tight... cue the trip to Ikea!
I looked at a couple of nice dressers/desks but they were not quite what I was looking for, until I came across the LACK floating shelf! It cost just £10 and teamed with a mirror and pink chair it does the job. I'm feeling pretty darn pleased with my own DIY solution as it certainly hasn't broke the bank and is looking rather sleek! I also bought strip lights which will give it the Broadway look, but stupidly I didn't realise they needed wiring into the wall. Lucky for me the hubby has promised to wire them to a lamp cable so that they simply plug in. I will post a new picture when it is all complete, but in the mean time here's a sneak peak...

My first post: Hello Everyone!!

First off let me say HI! I'm not the most technical minded so you will have to kindly be patient with my tweaking of this blog! I'm so excited to get started as I love looking at all beauty blogs and have been wanting to start my own offerings for some time now. So, low and behold I purchased myself a lovely little netbook and here I am.

If like me your addicted to all things beauty related then I'm hoping you'll enjoy checking out my future posts on my guilty purchases that the husband doesn't know about ;) and my personal opinions on the items I 'needed'.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jen xoxo
